I might have mentioned before that Ryan and I are faithful viewers of "The Unit" that airs on Tuesday nights. One of the main stars is Dennis Haysbert who plays Jonas Blane, a black-ops commander. You might recognize him for his portrayal of President David Palmer on 24. He has a very distinguishable voice and is the voice behind many Allstate commercials and military ads. You might also recognize this same voice in a few ads for BYU football. Which brings me to the current Loveless debate. Did Dennis Haysbert play football for BYU? The answer is no, he did not, but his brother did. Former 1980's cougar Adam Haysbert is the brother of this acclaimed star and was able to get him to do the voice overs for the BYU ads.
