So last week I attended Easton's preschool graduation. It reminded me of why it is so great to be a little person, not as in a dwarf, but as in a child. Jolea, little Sarah, Max, & I were sitting there in the dance studio waiting for the 12 graduates to make there entrance. In comes Easton and as he sits down he looks out into the room of parents and grandparents and in a very audible voice exclaims to the little graduate sitting beside him "Calli! I have an aunt and her name is Calli." Later he introduced all his little friends to Max and was so proud to show off his baby cousin. He definately stole the spotlight--Way to go Easton!

So, I need to dispell the myth...I do not hold the record for the worlds longest pregnancy--I had our baby boy, Max, four months ago. My sweet husband finally realized that to provide balance and sanity to my new role as full time mommy, he had better reconnect me. Now if I can just figure out how to download my pics on this new laptop that would really make my day...
Life as a mommy couldn't be better. It seems like our little guy changes and grows every minute...sometimes you just wish you could freeze time...He is so big and is really fun. I have to say, he's the best decision Ryan & I ever made. I believe that TS Elliot said something to the effect of before you're married your only a quarter alive, once your married your half alive, and once you have children you know what it means to really be living. I think I get that now.
