We went to see my sister, Jolea, on Friday night as she was home all alone while her husband was in S. Dakota hunting white tail. I just had to make mention of the Naughty/Nice lists hanging on her cupboards for each of her boys. One thing I am learning about being a parent is that Christmas is a season you can use to your advantage for getting your kids to behave. Mom was keeping a tally, just as Santa does-- a visual reminder for the children of their current standing as possible gift recipients.
