In Case You Were Wondering...
1. Harvest Fest came and went. Ryan went with it...well he went to New Zealand and Australia for work. Those are two of his international markets. He got to see and do all kinds of fun stuff. He absolutely loved Sydney. He says it's one of his favorite cities ever and he promised to take me there in the future. Harvest Fest delivered just as it should have. The food was delicious but the company was even better.
2. We are happy Ryan is home. Laughter just doesn't sound the same when he is gone. He brought Max a puppet from Australia--a koala bear. He likes it...
3. I'm 28. How does that happen...without you even knowing it you're knock, knock, knockin' on 30's door. Birthdays always have a way of reminding you what great friends and family you have. I always anticipate my mom's phone call the most. One year she definitely made up a rap for my birthday and it included a line about Paula Abdul. This year it was a montage of sorts...all the primary birthday songs melded into one harmonious jingle...with a few extras.
4. If I have to choose 3 hours of church or 3 hours in the E.R. on Sunday, I choose church, even with an almost one year old.
5. I admit that I have started listening to some Christmas music already, but only in the car and I haven't pulled out my Christmas decor yet. I still believe in Thanksgiving before Christmas.
